About SunDRAFT

Frank Kraus setup SunDRAFT to fill a niche in the building design industry. That is, the requirement for overflow drafting services to Consulting Engineers and Building Designers.

In essence this is something he has been doing for many years in any case, as well as working on steelwork and tilt panel fabrication (shop) drawings. He has now decided to give a relevant title and focus to his future.

He started his structural drafting career working for a national multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm. He set up his first drafting business in the late 80s', which proved to be successful in providing services to the general public, builders, developers and engineers.

He also has experience as construction manager and director for a project home builder, as well as design and construction managing Government assets in Arnhem Land and associated offshore islands.

He has travelled through and lived in a number of Australian states all the while providing out of house contract and freelance drafting services on structural, civil and architectural projects for consulting engineers, building designers, developers as well as shop drawings for builders and steel fabricators.

Frank moved his family to Queenslands Sunshine Coast in early 2003 and has since then continued providing similar services to local and interstate consultants, developers, builders and steel fabricators.
